Fabian Delph’s Manchester City have won the League Cup for the third time in five years, clinching the 2017/18 edition with a clinical 3-0 win over Arsenal in front of over 85,000 at Wembley. Man City were knocked out of the FA Cup by League One outfit Wigan Athletic, who ensured that the last eight of the tournament would not be an all top flight affair and would feature atleast one lower division team.
